OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of the local and global financial service industry including regulations, legislation and operating environment
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of brand management and corporate communications of the local financial services industry
  • Sound knowledge of products and markets and also the ability to apply this knowledge
  • Experience in institutional development, with exposure to processes and other support tools for mass processing in the financial industry
  • Ability to think strategically and to appreciate the systemic impact of various policies, issues and solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Self motivated and possessing strong drive and resourcefulness and also a commitment to achieving agreed objectives
  • Result oriented/quality focused with an exceptional skill of paying attention to detail
  •  Good appreciation and working knowledge of office automation tools

 JOB SUMMARY

Core functions of the role includes:

• Using strategic brand management to deliver competitive advantage by helping the organisation become more focused on giving value to target audience.

• Serve as middleman between MCC, businesses and brand consultants especially through facilitating communication and project planning for ARM’s campaigns and initiatives.

• Developing and driving the execution of ARM’s brand and marketing strategy, and ensuring effective communication directly impacts on the organization’s brand awareness. Furthermore business development should support the Group’s business lines; by ensuring effective brand projections and ROI, with sound research and analysis, development and execution of accountable programs and lastly, initiatives aimed at optimizing the customer experience, and revenue generating capacity of the business.

• Be an active participant in identify issues, forming hypotheses, planing and conducting research interviews and analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, and also helping to implement change.

• Establishing metrics to track and report performance of campaigns and new items after launch and therefore providing feedback to product development teams. Track and report the Group’s corporate brand performance and also the relative brand equity of its key business lines/products relative to the competition.

• Providing regular analysis of sales and share performance of brands, so that a brand report will be given to senior management/business partners.

• Providing content development support towards ARM’s internal and external communications.
